Job description
Billings Clinic – Main Campus is seeking a board-eligible Otolaryngologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity beginning ASAP with dates currently open through December 2025. This position includes clinic, OR, and beeper call coverage, and is part of a full-scope ENT practice with strong APP support.
Schedule Overview:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- OR: 1 day/week
- Call: Beeper, weeknight and weekend | Minimum 1 week/month
- Response Time: 20 minutes
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient (assigned/unassigned rounding)
- Patients/Day: 10–15
- Trauma Level: 1 | Stroke Certified: Yes
- EMR: Cerner
Call Responsibilities:
- Involves both clinic and hospital call
- Must be comfortable with urgent consults and emergent ENT evaluations
- Call details vary; average volume not specified
Required Skills:
- Experience with facial trauma, specifically mandible fracture repairs
- General ENT scope (no complex head/neck oncology required)
- Admissions required
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- BLS and ACLS required
- Must obtain full privileges (no temp privileges available)
- License in MT or IMLC preferred but not required at submission
- Fellowship not required

- Comprehensive ENT role with clinic and OR (1 day/week); facial trauma experience required, including mandible fracture repair.
- Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule with 1-hour lunch; 1+ week/month of call required (weeknight/weekend), 20-min response time.
- Cerner EMR; supportive APP team; Level 1 trauma center with OR privileges required; credentialing takes ~90 days.
