Full-time Occupational Therapist needed in Atlanta. GA
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions using standardized assessments and clinical observation.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities in activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and work tasks.
Educate patients, caregivers, and families on strategies to manage daily routines, prevent injury, and promote independence.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other team members to provide holistic care.
Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Doctorate preferred for some positions)
Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in [State]
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
CPR certification (preferred or required depending on setting)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience in [pediatrics/geriatrics/mental health/orthopedics/etc.] preferred (customize as needed)
Key Information:
40 hours in a week.
Monday - Friday.
No weekend rotation
