Physical Therapist – Durham, NC 27701 (#R10223)

Provide impactful, student-centered physical therapy services within Durham Public Schools. Support mobility, access, and participation while working collaboratively in a mission-driven educational environment.

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy
✔️ Active North Carolina PT License (NCBPTE)
✔️ NPTE completion
✔️ School or pediatric experience preferred
✔️ DCDEE background check (if serving preschool)
✔️ DPS onboarding/training participation

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct PT evaluations & re-evaluations per IDEA
✔️ Provide direct therapy and consultative services
✔️ Participate in IEP development & progress monitoring
✔️ Recommend adaptive equipment & accessibility supports
✔️ Maintain accurate, timely documentation
✔️ Collaborate with teachers, families, and service teams
