🏥 Locum Tenens PM&R Physician – San Francisco, CA - Weekend Coverage

Join a collaborative rehab team in San Francisco and help deliver essential weekend patient care.

Start Date: January 5, 2026
Location: San Francisco, CA
Practice Setting: Hospital Inpatient – Acute Care Rehab Units

📅 Schedule & Coverage
- Shift Type: Weekend coverage (Saturday & Sunday)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6+ hours onsite)
- On-Call: Night call required for admissions
- Frequency: Every weekend

👩‍⚕️ Work Details
- Patient Census: 12–13 patients per day
- Population: General rehab (stroke, ortho, pain management); no TBI or spinal cord injury at present
- Responsibilities: Admissions, discharges, rounding
- Support: Internal medicine providers available for acute medical issues; consult services (neurology, orthopedics, pain, internal medicine)
- Case Mix: General PM&R
- Preferred Skills: EMG/NCS, joint injections, spasticity management (Botox, intrathecal baclofen pumps)

✅ Requirements
- Board Status: BE or BC in PM&R
- License: Active California medical license
- DEA: California DEA required
- Certifications: AHA BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient PM&R experience

📋 Credentialing
- Timeframe: 45–60 days
