A well-supported hospital in Missouri is seeking a Board-Certified Physiatrist (PM&R) for an ongoing locum assignment beginning November 27, 2025. This role offers an excellent schedule, collaborative rehab team, and temp privileges for a fast start — perfect for physicians looking for consistent work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Assignment Details

Start Date: November 27, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Daily rounding 8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM

Coverage Dates:

Nov 27–30, 2025

Dec 19, 2025 – Jan 1, 2026

Setting: Hospital-based acute rehab unit (18 beds)

Support Staff: Nursing, Intake Team, PT, OT, SLP, Specialty Consults

Patients per Day: Average 10–12 (max 18)

EMR: Epic

Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital rehab unit

Responsibilities

Round on adult inpatients daily

Admit patients to the rehab unit

Lead team conference meetings

Complete all inpatient rehab documentation (H&P, 4-day POC, progress notes, change in status 3x/week, discharge summaries)

Requirements

✅ Board Certification: PM&R (required)
✅ License: Active Missouri medical license
✅ DEA: Required
✅ Experience: New grads welcome; experience preferred
🕓 Credentialing: Temp privileges available (30–45 days)
