PM&R Physician Locums – Houston, TX | 7 On / 7 Off | No Call

Job description

We are seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Houston, Texas. This is a flexible assignment at a teaching facility with a balanced schedule, strong APP support, and no call responsibilities.

Assignment Details
Location: Houston, TX
Assignment Length: 1 year
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Shift Length: 8–12 hours (primarily 12-hour shifts, depending on census)
Coverage: Full-time preferred; part-time candidates will also be considered
Call: None (Hospitalists provide overnight coverage)

Practice Setting:
2 APPs provide support across the inpatient units
No required procedures

Patient Volume: 8–14 patients per day

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible PM&R Physician
Active Texas medical license
Active Texas DEA
ACLS and PALS certifications required

Additional Information:
Long-term, stable assignment with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule
Collaborative multidisciplinary team
EMR: TBD
