Job description

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; no weekends or call.
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners only; telehealth not applicable.
• Duties include psych admissions and med management (no controlled substances).
• Follow strict correctional formulary for all prescribing.
• Caseload: 10–12 patients/day in a 24-bed in-cell psychiatric unit.
• Treat severe cases: suicidality, psychosis, self-harm, and substance abuse; patients transition once stabilized.
