I hope you’re doing well! I’m reaching out about a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in North Carolina. This is a great short-ideal for a provider with prior correctional experience.

📋 Assignment Details:

Start Date: November 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00a–4:30p | No weekends or call
Setting: Inpatient Correctional Psychiatry
Patient Population: Adult female inmates

Duties: Medication management (no controlled substances), admissions, and following specific medication formulary

Common Cases: Suicidal ideation, psychosis, self-injury, substance abuse, and high-acuity behavioral cases

💡 Requirements:
PMHNP or PA (Psychiatry experience required)

1-2 years of correctional psychiatry experience within the past 5 years

This unit is fast-paced, clinically driven, and best suited for confident providers who thrive in structured environments.
