New Opportunity Located in Southwest WA with Aya Locums: Psychiatric NP

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide outpatient psychiatric coverage in southwest Washington. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, supportive team environment, and the opportunity to serve a diverse community in an established health center network.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (must be available within 4 weeks)
• Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (40 hours/week)
• Setting: Outpatient community health center

Work Details
• Support Staff: Dedicated MA, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatrician
• Patient Volume: Up to 18 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages — newborns through geriatrics
• Scope: Evaluation, diagnosis, and management of mental health and substance use disorders
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required (Psychiatric-Mental Health NP)
• License: Active Washington NP license (required)
• DEA: Active WA DEA required
• Certifications: Any additional required certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.) to be obtained by provider
• Experience: Must have recent face-to-face psychiatric experience and a clean background (no malpractice)
• Language: Spanish or Russian a plus
