Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in WA – Locum Tenens Opportunity

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (within 4 weeks preferred)
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential to extend
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Setting: Outpatient ambulatory – Community Health Center

Position Highlights

Full-time role (40 hours/week)

Work across two behavioral health clinic locations:

Behavioral Health Clinic: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

Sister Clinic: Wednesday and Thursday (medication management only)

Collaborative, supportive team environment with:

Dedicated medical assistant per provider

Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and administrative support

EPIC EMR system

Diverse patient population with interpretive services available

Spanish or Russian language skills preferred, but not required

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management

Treat a full spectrum of mental health and substance use disorders

Work with patients across the lifespan (newborn through geriatric)

Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary team collaboration

Provider Requirements

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Active Washington State medical
