📍 Psychiatrist Needed – Inpatient | Alaska | $225/hr + Travel & Lodging | October Start

We’re seeking Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Psychiatrists for an exciting inpatient opportunity in Alaska, starting October 27, 2025. If you're looking for a structured schedule, strong support staff, and a scenic location, this could be the perfect fit.

🔹 Position Highlights:

Specialty: Psychiatry (Adults 18+)

Setting: Inpatient Facility – 16 beds, 12 PPD average

Schedule Options: 7 on / 7 off OR 14 on / 14 off

Call: Beeper (30-min response), phone consults only

Support Staff: 2 RNs, 3 Techs, 2 NPs

EMR: Cerner

Admissions Required: 2:10 follow-up to evaluations

Provider Decision Deadline: September 26, 2025

🔹 Requirements:

Must be Board-Certified (or Truly BE)

Alaska License REQUIRED

60-day credentialing (potential for temporary privileges)

Supervision Required

Skills Needed:

Anxiety, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD

Personality & Psychotic Disorders

Organic Disorders, Involuntary Commitments

Restraint Application

Therapies Utilized:

Pharmacotherapy

Group Therapy
