🧠 Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity (Locum or Perm)
📅 Flexible Schedule Options: 7-on/7-off OR 14-on/14-off
📍 Inpatient Setting | Ages 18+ | Alaska License Required
🔍 Position Overview:
Schedule Options: 7-on/7-off OR 14-on/14-off
Clinic Hours + Call
Call Type: Beeper | 30-min response time required
Patient Census: 12 patients per shift
Follow-Up to Eval Ratio: 2:10
💡 Clinical Scope:
Psychiatric conditions: Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Psychosis, ADHD
Must be familiar with:
Involuntary commitments
Restraint protocols
Admissions and crisis evaluations
✅ Requirements:
Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
Alaska Medical License (required)
Must be comfortable supervising APPs (NP/PAs)

16-bed inpatient psych unit
Trauma Level 4
Support Staff Includes:
2 RNs
2 NP/PAs
- Ages 18+
- BC Requried
