📅 Tentative Start: Nov 17, 2025 – June 26, 2026 (7-month contract)
🏥 Setting: Academic/Training Hospital | Behavioral Health Dept.

Join a collaborative, mission-driven team in a new 12-bed adult psychiatric unit at a large county hospital (525 beds). We're looking for a flexible, board-certified Psychiatrist with recent inpatient experience and a strong interest in teaching and teamwork.

Position Details:
⏰ Schedule: Full-time, either Mon–Fri 8a–5p or 7 on/7 off
Weekend call during 7 on/7 off (daytime only—no night call)
Monthly scheduling—flexibility required
👥 Support Team: Nursing, psychology, OT, social work/case management
📚 Academic Role: Involves direct care + resident supervision
🧠 Patient Population: Adults (no average yet – new unit)
💻 EMR: EPIC
📍 Location: County hospital setting—must be comfortable with high-acuity patients

Requirements:
- Board Certified (required)
- State license (highly preferred)
- Strong team player with teaching experience and a proactive mindset

• Start Date: November 17, 2025 – June 26, 2026 (start date is tentative as this is a new unit)
• Schedule: M-F 8a-5p; if working 7 on/7 off schedule they will cover the unit for call on the weekends but they are done after rounding and will not have to take night call. Schedules are made monthly and candidates MUST be flexible.
• Support staff: nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work/case management
