Psychiatrist needed in Denver, CO

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Psychiatrist need in Denver, CO.

Contract Length: 9 months, 10/13 start
Shift Details: 7 on/7 off; Monday-Sunday, 8a-5p, no night call

Work Details:
• Support staff: nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work/case management
• Patients per day: on average 12 patients per day, per provider; 45 bed unit.
• Patient population/age: adult unit
• Department description: Behavioral Health
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: 525 in hospital; 45 bed unit
• Skills required: Must have recent inpatient experience. Providers will need to be comfortable with teaching (supervision of residents) as this may be required some weeks they are there. DHHA is a county hospital with very ill patients so must be comfortable in this setting. Additionally, candidates must work well independently as well as collaboratively as this is a very collegial environment, good personality for teaching since they have residents.
