Job description
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a unique academic-focused inpatient assignment in Denver, CO. This is a county hospital with a 45-bed unit and a very collegial teaching environment. Providers must be comfortable working with residents and handling patients with high acuity. The schedule is 7 on/7 off, 8a–5p, with no nights or call required.

Schedule: 7 on/7 off; 8a–5p
Patient Load: ~12 patients per day
Support Staff: Nursing, social work/case management, occupational therapy, psychology
Teaching: Yes — providers must be comfortable supervising residents
EMR: EPIC

• Hospital Size: 525 beds; Psych Unit: 45 beds
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years preferred in inpatient and/or academic settings
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Certifications Preferred: Teaching experience
• Licensing: Active CO license highly preferred, IMLC considered
• DEA Required: Yes
