Job description

We’re seeking a Florida-licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity in Vero Beach, FL. Preference given to candidates currently residing or practicing in Florida—especially near Vero Beach. Travel may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: Between 12/1/2025 and 1/1/2026 (preferably before New Year)
End Date: Through Fall 2026, no later than 12/2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Setting: Inpatient hospital with geriatric, pediatric, and adult wings
Duties: Intakes, consults, ED rounding, potential outpatient visits
Patient Mix: Primarily adult/geriatric with supplemental child psychiatry (typically <10 pediatric patients)
EMR: EPIC
Credentialing Timeframe: 2–4 weeks
