Locum Adult Psychiatrist (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)
We are currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity providing outpatient and telehealth services across community-based behavioral health settings. This is a part-time position (3 days/week) with flexibility in scheduling and worksite location.

Position Overview:
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3 days per week (preferred: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult outpatient clients
Deliver telepsychiatry services to substance abuse (SA) residential programs via Microsoft Teams
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor treatment plans
Maintain timely and accurate documentation using Avatar EMR


Patient caseload: Approximately 10–12 patients per day

Requirements:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid
Experience or familiarity with Community Service Board (CSB) or outpatient behavioral health populations
Comfortable using Teams for telehealth sessions
proficiency with Avatar EMR is a plus

Schedule Breakdown:

1 day/week onsite for general adult outpatient services
1.5 days/week via telehealth for SA residential programs (admission + follow-ups)
