DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Adult Psychiatrist to provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services in Queens Village, NY. This assignment is for an Adult Psychiatry position within an inpatient setting.

COMPENSATION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

‣ Provide psychiatric care to adult patients in an inpatient setting
‣ Evaluate and manage adult psychiatric patients
‣ Provide ongoing inpatient psychiatric treatment as required
‣ Participate as part of the psychiatric treatment team
‣ Complete necessary clinical documentation and patient care responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

‣ MD or DO
‣ Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
‣ Board Certification must be through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
‣ Board-Eligible candidates generally do not meet contract requirements
‣ Must be actively enrolled in both New York State Medicaid and Medicare
‣ Medicaid and Medicare enrollment must remain current throughout the assignment

‣ Full-time
‣ 40 hours per week
‣ Monday–Friday
‣ 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
‣ No weekend coverage required
