Part-Time Psychiatrist – Adult Psychiatry- North Carolina

Setting: Outpatient / Community-Based
Schedule: 20 hours per week (two 10-hour days)
Population: Adults only
EMR: Credible

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide community-based psychiatric care for adult patients. This role includes conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management for adult patients

Participate in on-site morning team meetings

Deliver community-based care throughout the day

Collaborate with ACTT staff on treatment planning and care coordination

Document all services in the Credible EMR system

Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

Position Details

Schedule: 20 hours/week (two 10-hour days)

Caseload: Approximately 5–6 patients per day

Setting: Outpatient / community-based (travel required during the day)
