Part-Time Outpatient Psychiatrist Adult Psychiatry | North Carolina

A community mental health organization in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Adult Psychiatrist to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful psychiatric care in both outpatient and community settings, collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Position Highlights

Schedule: Two 10-hour days per week (20 hours total)
Setting: Outpatient and community-based – Adults only
Caseload: Approximately 5–6 patients per day
Duties: Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and care coordination
EMR: Credible

Patient Population

Adults with serious and persistent mental illness
Individuals with co-occurring disorders
Patients receiving community-based, wraparound psychiatric services

Requirements:

MD or DO with active NC Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Experience or interest in community psychiatry preferred
