Locum IP Psychiatrist Needed in ND - Make $200/hr - $225/hr

Aya Locums is thrilled to offer an immediate opening for a Board-Certified Inpatient Psychiatrist at a top-tier hospital in North Dakota. You’ll work in a supportive environment with a cohesive care team while enjoying a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation — the perfect balance of professional fulfillment and personal freedom.


🔍 What You’ll Do:
Lead care for inpatients aged 8+ in a 14-bed psychiatric unit

Perform evaluations, H&Ps, admissions, daily progress notes, discharges

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary dream team: social workers, nursing staff, FNP, therapist, teacher

On-call support with Medical Director available by phone

🕒 Schedule & Coverage:
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Thursday–Wednesday)

Daily hours: 8 AM – 4 PM

On-call: 6 AM – 10 PM during scheduled weeks

🎯 What You Need:
Board Certification in Psychiatry (Required)

Active ND license or IMLC (or we’ll help you get one!)

DEA & BLS required

1–2 years of inpatient experience preferred
