Locum Psychiatrist Needed in Providence, RI

Start Date: June 16th, or as soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 3 months with the option to extend

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts ( 7 am- 7 pm and 7 pm- 7 am) Full-Time; however, will consider flexible inpatient Per Diem shifts onsite. NO Telemedicine at this time.

Support Staff: Psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health counselors, social workers, and occupational therapists.

Patients per day: Adult and Geriatric.

Job Duties:
Diagnose and treat patients with mental health conditions in a hospital setting. They provide a range of services, including psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care

Requirements:

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry
Rhode Island licensed, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration (Willing to License...Rhode Island is part of ILMC)

Travel: Travel expenses are covered by the client.
