Part-time Psychiatrist needed Tennessee

Job description

• Duration: August 2025 – November 2025 (potential to extend)
• Schedule: 2 weekends per month (Sat & Sun). Times are flexible as long as all patients are seen. Recommend 8, 10 or 12 hr guarantee.
• Call: TBD
• Patient Volume: 20-22 follow ups per weekend (Split with MD/NP)
• Primarily adult psych patients / some children
• Minimal C&A (children/adolescent) – comfort with both preferred
• Outpatient-style visits in provider office (not bedside)
• Weekend duties: routine follow-up only, very few new admissions, no treatment team meetings
• EMR: Epic
• Facility: 155-bed behavioral health treatment center
• Support: Nurse and therapist in unit
• Requirements: Active TN license and TN DEA (may consider compact license)
• Travel covered in full
