Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Psychiatrist need in Austin, TX.

Contract Length: 6/23 - 9/23
Shift Details: preferred shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in person. Alternative shifts may be considered including a telepsychiatry role

Work Details:
Skills required: provide clinical care to individuals with severe mental illness on both civil and forensic commitments, Geriatric patients and those with intellectual disabilities in need of psychiatric services in tandem with a group of staff and fellow professionals. Performs advanced psychiatric work that involves directing psychiatric activities, monitoring trends, diagnosing, and treating individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center. Administers quality and appropriate specialized psychiatric treatments, assessments, and procedures as needed, etc.
· Psychiatrist is in charge of a psychiatric treatment team.
· Caseload for psychiatrist 45-50 individuals
