1 day a week Psychiatrist needed in TX

Job description

Outpatient Psychiatrist – Part-Time (1 Day/Week)
Location: Texas
Schedule: 1 day per week (Monday or Tuesday, in-person only)
Patient Population: Primarily adults (18+), with occasional adolescent cases
Patient Volume: 10–15 patients per day
EMR: E-ClinicalWorks (familiarity or adaptability required)

Position Details:
Evaluation Appointments: 45 minutes

Medication Management: 30 minutes

Caseload: Depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, HIV-related psychiatric conditions, and more

Emergency Credentialing Available

Supervisory Duties (Paid Separately):
Supervise 2 PMHNPs

Audit 1% of their charts (only one NP is full-time, others work 1 day/week)

Supervision hours are compensated in addition to clinical hours

Team & Support:
Collaborative team with LCSWs and one other psychiatrist (near retirement)

Dedicated Medical Assistant support

Requirements:
Board Certified (BC) preferred, but will consider Board Eligible (BE) candidates

Must be in-network with Medicaid and Medicare or willing/eligible to enroll

Comfortable with supervising mid-levels and using E-ClinicalWorks
