Psychiatrist – State Supported Living Center
Location: ~30 minutes from Houston, TX
Start Date: August 11, 2025
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Format:

1 day per week telepsychiatry, remaining days on-site

No holidays or weekends

Patient Population:

Ages 18+

Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

Dual diagnosis and psychiatric conditions

Call Requirements:

On-call every 3rd week

Includes Saturday/Sunday for emergency chemical restraint consults (via state-issued cellphone, remote only)

EMR: IRIS

Setting: Standard State Supported Living Center (SSLC) environment
