Psychiatrist needed in South Texas

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist licensed in the State of Texas to provide ongoing locum coverage for a facility in South Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Prescribe, monitor, and justify the use of psychotropic medications in accordance with best clinical practices.

Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Licensure: Must hold an unrestricted Texas medical license and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry in the State of Texas.
DEA Registration: Must hold a current unrestricted DEA certificate.
Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred.
