Psychiatrist Needed in Texas

Psychiatrist opportunity available in TX
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 3 months with possible extension
Schedule: 7p-7a any 2 days Tuesday - Saturday per week
Additional Details:
- Patient ages: Adults, infrequent psychiatric consultation of pediatric patients in the medical ER (Main ED)
- Expectations: Completion of initial and follow-up psychiatric evaluations, working in coordination with the multidisciplinary team, communication of recommendations to consulting team and orders placed as indicated, doc-to-doc for transfers to/from PED/PEU to Main ED, consulting other services as needed (e.g. hospitalist medicine), completion of legal paperwork for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization (OPC applications).

Licensure: Active TX license required (assistance available if needed)
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60-90 days
