📢 Child Psychiatry Opportunity — Full-Time (Jan 26, 2026 – Sept 25, 2026)
Role Highlights:
50% Inpatient: Acute Psychiatric Institute/Unit
50% Outpatient: Scheduled clinic hours plus call coverage
Schedule: Full-time, 8 AM – 5 PM, with some weekend call (details discussed during interview)
Call: Assigned patients via beeper system
Patient Load: 8-10 patients per day (includes admissions through ER/med floor, rounding, consulting, and 1:1 follow-ups)
Population: 100% Pediatric
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 90 days, no temporary privileges
Support Team:
3 physicians & psychiatrists
Mid-level provider
RNs, OT, ABA therapist, family therapist
Mental health professionals, PhD court evaluators, LICSWs
24-hour security personnel
Requirements:
Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or within 1 year post-fellowship)
Valid WA Medical License or IMLC eligibility
BLS certification
Experience and/or supervision for CAP fellows and psychiatry residents
Skilled in managing Anxiety, Affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Developmental, Psychotic, Organic Disorders, and involuntary commitments
