Psychiatrist Needed in Longview, WA | Inpatient + Outpatient | WA License Required | 26 Weeks

Job description

Start: November 30, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 26 weeks — approval good through February 28, 2027 (open to extension)
Coverage: Behavioral health across inpatient and outpatient settings, including rounding, admissions, and discharges
Schedule: Full-time. 5–7 inpatient shifts per month with occasional night call, plus 12–19 outpatient days. Clinic days 8:00a–5:00p with a 1-hour lunch. Split inpatient/outpatient days run 8:00a–noon inpatient and 1:00p–5:00p clinic (occasionally a 7:30a start when court is involved). Weekends approximately once a quarter for inpatient tele, which can be remote for Washington residents.
Call: Occasional night call
Volume: Average 12–14 patients per day
Patient Population: Adults
Practice Setting: Behavioral health — inpatient and outpatient (sites 5 minutes apart); 126-bed hospital; EMR Epic
Note: Provider will work solo; both clinic and hospital privileges needed.

Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Case logs (100 patients) from the past 24 months required
- Washington license required and must be in hand at time of presentation (not open to IMLC)
- BLS required
- Epic experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
