Full-time psychologist or clinical counselor needed in Iowa

Job description

Family Counseling & Psychology Center, PC, is currently hiring for a full-time therapist position. The qualified applicant will be responsible for providing direct client care to individuals and families. This includes conducting diagnostic assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing therapeutic counseling. The applicant will also be required to complete all necessary documentation using an EHR platform and consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in psychology, or master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Licensure or license eligible as a psychologist, LISW, LMHC, LCPC, or other applicable master’s level licensure.
• Minimum of one-year post-licensure clinical experience preferred
• Experience working with children and adults is preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
• Working knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely client records
