Role Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed reports on clients and maintain necessary paperwork.
• Gather comprehensive information through interviews, case histories, observational techniques, and other assessment methods.
• Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders using data obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for patient care coordination.
• Conduct thorough medical, psychological, social, and family history assessments.
• Provide counseling advice to clients based on assessment outcomes.
• Stay updated with relevant research and literature in the field.
• Refer clients to specialists or support services when necessary.
• Develop and participate in training programs for staff and students.
• Collaborate with professionals and agencies to discuss treatment approaches and share occupational information.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests to gather information on individuals' intelligence, achievements, interests, or personalities.
• Supervise and train interns and clinicians in training.
• Direct and evaluate the activities of staff and interns involved in patient assessment and treatment.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
• Doctorate of Psychology or Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in psychological testing.
• Preferred experience in Neuropsychological Assessment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
• Basic computer skills.
