Psychologist needed for part time work in Tennessee!
Job description
Forensic Psychologist – Part-Time (TN)
Location: TN
Schedule: Part-time (3 days/week) – Wednesdays required on site
Start Date: As soon as available
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 1–2 comprehensive forensic evaluations per week
Evaluate patients every 30 days
Perform assessments including:
Risk assessment
IQ testing
Malingering evaluations
Complete detailed forensic reports using EMR: Avatar
Provide expert testimony (up to 1 court appearance/month)
Collaborate with legal teams and clinical staff
Ensure compliance with legal and clinical standards
Population:
Adult forensic patients
80% Competency & Insanity evaluations
20% Diminished Capacity evaluations
Schedule Requirements:
Three days per week
Must be on site Wednesdays
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
Licensed Psychologist in Tennessee
Experience in forensic evaluations
Familiarity with risk assessment tools and malingering measures
Courtroom testimony experience preferred
Comfortable using Avatar EMR
