Psychiatrist – Inpatient | 7 On / 7 Off Schedule
Location: Anchorage, AK
Start Date: January 5, 2026 | Duration: Ongoing

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (General Psychiatry with Child & Adolescent Board Eligibility) to join our inpatient mental health unit in Anchorage, AK. This full-time role follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with overnight call coverage.

Position Highlights:

Setting: Inpatient

Patients per shift: ~20

Population: Adults & adolescents

Conditions Treated: Anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Active AK license or eligibility for temp license

BLS certification required; fellowship preferred

Experience treating both adult and adolescent populations

Credentialing: 60–90 days
