Perm - Physician - Radiology - Mammography Silverton, OR

Job description

Join a dynamic hospital-based Breast Center within a Level 4 trauma-designated facility, focused exclusively on breast imaging. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will serve as the on-site breast imager, working closely with a dedicated team including ultrasound and mammography techs and a breast navigator.

Schedule & Work Environment:
Minimum 3 days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
No weekends or on-call responsibilities
10 weeks of vacation annually
Additional scheduling flexibility negotiable
Supplemental pay available for commuting over 60 miles

Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide breast imaging services including mammography and ultrasound
Perform breast biopsies, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided procedures
Use Powerscribe dictation integrated with EPIC and EPIC Mammography reporting
Work primarily with adult patient population

Facility highlights:
1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at Silverton
1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at Imaging Center (screening exams only)
No ER volume or teleradiology for breast imaging

Team & Support:
Part of a Seattle-based practice with 250 radiologists
Dedicated breast imaging team includes 2 ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator
Breast navigator assists with biopsies and patient follow-up scheduling

Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology (ABR or ABOR) – Required
Fellowship-Trained or Extensive Practice Experience in Breast Imaging – Required
Active Oregon Medical License or in-process – Required
BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain) – Required
Proficiency in mammography and breast biopsies (please note in application) – Required
