A large hospital is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Central Florida between Tampa and Orlando.
About the clinician's workday
This position offers a MondayFriday schedule from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with flexibility based on patient volume, and no call or weekend requirements. The average caseload is 1012 patients per day, and hospital privileges are required. Providers will see new patients and consults, with OTVs on Mondays and 23 consults per day TuesdayFriday, plus possible follow-ups. The clinic uses Epic, Mosaiq, Eclipse, MIM, BrainLab, Oncentra, RadCalc, and Philips wide bore CT, with Trilogy and TrueBeam 4.1 systems (a new TrueBeam arriving in March, at which time clinic hours will be reduced). Weekly tumor board meetings occur every Tuesday at 7 a.m., along with weekly chart rounds to review new patients.
