Radiation Oncologist Opening in Beautiful NC

Job description

Schedule Details: clinic hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with one admin day per week; one undertreat day with no scheduled clinic, roughly 15-20 patients on that beam. Must be on site every day for radiation treatment oversight. Peer review required with second radiation oncologist for all new start radiation patients.
Work Details:
• Support staff: Dosimetrist and Physicist on site, oncology RN and navigator.
• Department Description: Comprehensive outpatient radiation oncology department integrated with medical oncology; collaborative environment focused on continuity of care.
• Patient Volume: 2 consults and 8 follow-ups max per day
• Patient Age Group: Primarily adult and geriatric (18+)
• EMR/Documentation System: Epic,
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, and SRS/SBRT
• Special Equipment Used: Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, MIM Software, Aria
