Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum assignment at a comprehensive cancer center in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: July 2026
• Contract Length: Through July 2027
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (full-time)
• Shift Details: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call Requirements: None

Work Details
• Support Staff: Oncology-certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, and 4 highly experienced radiation therapists
• Patient Volume: ~14 treatments per day, ~8 consults per week, ~20 follow-ups
• Patient Population: Adult
• Facility Type: Off-site hospital-based comprehensive cancer center with hematology/oncology, infusion services, and palliative care onsite
• Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic, minimal inpatient consults, tumor board participation, and chart rounds
• Special Procedures: Lung SBRT
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Clinic
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: BC or BE in Radiation Oncology
• License: Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA: Required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year required
