Job description
DeTar Healthcare System is seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist for an extended locum tenens assignment, beginning June 30, 2025, with an ongoing timeline thereafter. This position is purely outpatient-based, offering a predictable schedule free from hospital call or inpatient rounding duties.
Position Overview:
- Setting: Outpatient Radiation Oncology
- Shift Volume: 10–12 patients per day
- Treatment Modalities: Linear accelerator-based therapies including conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy), SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy), and 3D treatment planning
- Support Team: 1 Registered Nurse, 1 Medical Assistant, 2 Office Staff
- EMR Platforms: Athena and Medhost
