Job description

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Completed accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board Certification or Eligibility through the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
- State medical license (active or eligible).
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (preferred for advanced practice): Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Interventional, Breast Imaging, Nuclea

Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnostic Interpretation
- Interpret and report findings from medical imaging studies, including:
- X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, PET/CT, and Nuclear Medicine scans.
- Identify abnormalities, pathologies, and clinically significant findings.
- Correlate imaging results with patient history, laboratory results, and prior studies.
- Provide clear, concise diagnostic reports for referring clinicians.

2. Consultative Collaboration
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards.

3. Image-Guided Procedures (if applicable)
- Perform or supervise interventional procedures such as: Biopsies, drain placements, joint injections, angiography, and embolization.
- Manage post-procedure care and complications.

4. Quality and Safety
- Support accreditation efforts (ACR, Joint Commission, etc.).

5. Education and Training
- Mentor and supervise residents, fellows, or technologists as applicable.
- Engage in continuing medical education (CME) to maintain certification and stay current on advances in imaging technology and diagnostic criteria.
