Requirements
✓ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
✓ Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License
✓ ARRT Certification preferred
✓ EMT, CMA, or medical assistant background preferred
✓ Strong communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities
✓ Verify patient identity and review physician orders before imaging
✓ Operate X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered
✓ Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the exam
✓ Position and assist patients, including those with limited mobility
✓ Follow radiation safety protocols (e.g., using lead shields)
✓ Ensure image quality and minimize need for retakes
✓ Collaborate with radiologists for follow-up imaging as needed
✓ Maintain equipment and promptly report any malfunctions
✓ Accurately document and track completed procedures
