New Opportunity Located in South CA with Aya Locums: Remote Radiologist

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Remote Diagnostic Radiologist to provide coverage in Southern California. This role offers a mix of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain film reads in a hospital-based environment. Occasional on-site weekend shifts and brief on-site system setup/training days are required.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 2025
• Contract Length: 13+ weeks
• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts, no call
• Location: Remote
• EMR: Epic (required)

Schedule
• Weekdays (Remote)
Day: 7a–11p (8 hours)
Afternoon: 2p–8p (6 hours)
Short: 8p–12a (4 hours)
• Weekends (Remote)
Short: 6p–12a (6 hours)
• Weekends (On-site)
8a–6p (9 hours)

Work Details
• Average Volume: ~80 studies per weekday; 150–180 on weekends
• Modalities: CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain films (no nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast)
• Focus: Body imaging preferred
• Support Staff: Hospital-based team
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based

Requirements
• Board Certified
• Active, unrestricted CA medical license (required)
• DEA (required)
• BLS or ACLS (required)
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience
• Clean background and malpractice history – no exceptions
• Must be available for occasional on-site weekend coverage and initial system training
