Locum Radiologist – Inpatient & Outpatient / IR Department
Job description
Schedule:
Patient Contact: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Shifts per Month: 20 (weekdays only)
Shift Length: 8 hours
On-Call: None
Dates Needed:11/24–11/28, 12/8–12/12,12/22–12/26
Responsibilities:
Interpret medical imaging including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, nuclear medicine, and ultrasounds.
Perform fluoroscopy studies: Swallow, BE, Myelogram, LP.
Perform interventional procedures using imaging guidance.
Analyze and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to guide patient care.
Review patient records and recommend appropriate imaging or testing.

Inpatient & Outpatient responsibilities in the Radiology and IR departments
Number of Physicians: 1
Nursing Support / Physician Ratio: 1:1
Exam Rooms per Provider: 3
Daily Clinic & Hospital Volume: ~111 patients
Appointment Length: 20 minutes
EMR: Powerscribe / Cerner
Teaching opportunities available
Requirements:
Board Certified – Required
Active IA License or IMLC – Required
Fellowship Trained (General Radiology with Mammography and Fluoroscopy) – Required
Must be available to cover most or all of the dates listed – Required
Clean malpractice and background check – Required
