Job description

A community-based hospital in North Carolina is seeking an on-site Diagnostic Radiologist for a short-term locum assignment. This role includes mammography, light interventional procedures, and general diagnostic reads. Providers must have an active NC license and be available to start as soon as credentialing is complete.

Assignment Details:

📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📆 Duration: 90–120 days
🏥 Facility:

110 Medical Beds

27 Behavioral Health Beds

12-Bed Open ICU

19-Bed Emergency Department
📈 Read Volume: To be determined
📷 Modalities: General diagnostic + diagnostic mammography
🩻 Breast Imaging: Yes — up to 2 days/week dedicated to mammography program
🛠️ Light IR Procedures: Lumbar puncture, paracentesis
📄 Licensure: Active North Carolina license required – no exceptions
🚫 Temporary Privileges: Not available
📞 Call Requirements: None
📃 MQSA Certification: Viewed as a facility certification (not required for provider)
