New Opportunity in Northeast OH with Aya Locums: Radiologist

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiologist for a 6-month contract in Northeast Ohio, with the option to extend. This assignment offers a flexible weekday schedule, no call, and a variable case mix across inpatient and outpatient.

Assignment Details
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: Flexible—7a–4p, 7:30a–4:30p, 8a–5p, or 8:30a–5:30p
• Minimum: 1 week per month (Monday–Friday)
• No call required
• Contract length: 6 months, option to extend

Case Mix / Modalities
• Required: General CT (including unenhanced head & C-spine, Level II trauma), Ultrasound (including 1st trimester OB), X-ray
• Preferred: Abdominal MRI & Fluoro exams
• Excluded: Mammography, neuro subspecialty (MRI/spine/stroke), nuclear medicine, MSK MRI (unless fellowship trained)
• Case types: Primarily inpatient and outpatient, occasional STAT list coverage

Procedures
• Not required, but preferred: Basic CT/US-guided procedures (abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA)
• Expected volume: 1–7 minor procedures/day (excluding fluoro)

Practice Model / Technology
• Independent reading across modalities with procedural flexibility
• Technology: PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360), EMR (EPIC)
