Job description

Shift Details:
Shifts: Two 4-hour shifts per week
Schedule: Monday and Tuesday mornings, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Possible Call: Rare and not required, with potential for Monday night call

Work Details:
Support Staff: Heavy nursing support available
Coverage Needed: Two 4-hour shifts per week

Patients per Day:
Start with 6 patients
Increase to 12 patients as the patient panel stabilizes
Patient Population/Age: Adult
Department: Rheumatology
EMR System: EPIC
Hospital Bed Size: 448

Skills Required:
Acute and chronic disease management
Joint injections
Consultation requests
Medication management
Stabilization and transition of patients back to their primary care physician

Practice Setting:

Requirements:
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
DEA
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years

Credentialing Timeframe:
Approximately 90 days
