An exciting opportunity is available for a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to provide locum coverage in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. This role supports a brand-new outpatient rheumatology clinic set to open in November 2025, and includes occasional inpatient rounding/consults.

🔍 Position Details
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic + inpatient rounding as needed

Workload:

Clinic: Estimated 4–8 adult patients per day (volume may increase over time)

Inpatient: Rounding/consults vary based on hospital need

Support Staff: Medical Assistants & Front Desk Admin

Solo Coverage: Yes

EMR: EPIC

Skills Required: Must perform joint injections

✅ Requirements
Board Certification: Internal Medicine & Rheumatology (required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-fellowship

Fellowship: Rheumatology (completed)

Licensure: Active & unrestricted California medical license (required)

Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required)

DEA: Required and in good standing

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
