About the clinician's workday

The rheumatologist will provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients, managing 14-18 patients daily with a target of 2 new patients per day. The position operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, requiring call coverage for both outpatient and inpatient needs during the two-week assignment periods. Responsibilities include conducting thorough rheumatologic evaluations, developing treatment plans, overseeing infusion room operations including signing off on orders, and managing follow-up care for established patients with various rheumatologic conditions.

• Support staff: Nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative support

• Call ratio/schedule: Call would be for the 2 weeks while here, that includes outpatient call and inpatient call.
