𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Physician – 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
We are seeking a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Rheumatologist to provide locum tenens coverage for an ongoing vacancy. This position supports a well-established rheumatology service within a hospital system offering strong clinical infrastructure and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The physician will provide outpatient clinic care for adult and geriatric patients and participate in hospital call coverage on a rotating basis. The role is supported by experienced Medical Assistants (MAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and administrative staff to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
- Outpatient clinic schedule: 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts
- 24-hour hospital call coverage: Two weeks per month
- Call rotation: 1:2

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric rheumatology patients
- Diagnose and treat complex rheumatologic conditions
- Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
- Provide inpatient consults while on call
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Rheumatology
- Fellowship training in Rheumatology required
- Active or eligible state medical license
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and provide scheduled coverage
