Rheumatology Locum Opportunity

Job description

Start Date: January 1, 2026
End Date: December 31, 2026
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Schedule:

4–5 days per week (preferred)

32–36 hours per week

Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility available)

Practice Setting:

Outpatient only (hospital-based outpatient department)

Will require hospital credentialing

Work Details:

Patient Volume: 12–16 patients per day

Support Staff: Yes

Providers Needed: 1

Skills Required: Familiarity with intravenous therapies

Candidate Preference: Local or drive-in candidates preferred; seeking longer-term locums to provide continuity before permanent hire

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required

State License: Any active state license accepted (OR license preferred; open to those needing to obtain)

Certifications: BLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
